Boil Water

Location: Visitor Centre - A boil water advisory is in effect. Please bring water to a rolling boil for at least 1 full minute before using for drinking, food preparation and infant formula, and brushing teeth.

Park Notice

The Minnesing Trail and parking area will be closed to the public from November 14, 2023 to mid-2025. The area is closed for the construction of a new sanitation station (trailer dump and fill station). The Minnesing Trail will not be accessible until construction is complete, including from the Canisbay Campground access.

The Minnesing Trail is used for mountain biking and backcountry skiing and camping. The trail will not be available for biking, skiing, snowshoeing, or any winter activities including winter camping until construction is complete.

Park Notice

Due to unpredictable ice out conditions, backcountry camping is currently closed from April 1 to May 1. If conditions allow, we will open backcountry camping reservations up before May 2.

Until backcountry camping is open you cannot make backcountry reservations and there are no first-come, first-served campsites. This applies to both backpacking and paddling.

Updates will be posted on our social media channels and here on our alerts page.
