Day Use at Ontario Parks
Overview

A daily vehicle permit is a great way to explore a provincial park for the day. Bike, hike, swim, picnic and make some magical outdoor memories.
- Includes entry to an operating provincial park for one vehicle and its passengers.
- Most permits are valid from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, but can vary by park.
- Enjoy a park in every season. Daily vehicle permits are available year round – each park has its own operating dates so check ahead to plan your adventure.
Book before you go
Parks can get busy, and we have a limited number of spots available each day. To guarantee your spot for the day, booking in advance is required.
Planning a day trip? You can purchase daily vehicle permits for most parks up to five days before your visit through our online reservation service. This guarantees access and reduces wait time upon arrival.
Seasonal permit holder? A seasonal permit alone does not guarantee entry. Please secure your day use spot in advance at no extra charge using your seasonal permit's serial number.
At all other parks, daily vehicle permits are available on a first come, first served basis upon arrival.
