Beef Stew

Ingredients:
- 1 pound beef (cut into small pieces)
- ½ onion
- 3 carrots
- 3 stalks of celery
- 1 can of corn
- 4 packs of beef bouillon
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 tsp oil
- 4 cups of water
Procedure:
At home:
- Cut the beef and onions into smaller pieces and fry in a pan until meat is brown (drain excess fat)
- Add salt and pepper
- Put in a freezer bag and freeze
At the campsite:
- Add the bouillon packages, water, corn and beef
- Cut the celery and carrots into small pieces
- Cook altogether for 10 minutes
- Serve over pasta
Tips:
- Prepare meat mixture at home to cut down on cooking time
- Add more water if necessary if it is disappearing too fast
