Join us as we howl in the New Year!

A truly unique way to welcome the new year. Gather around as we talk about the mysterious life of urban Coyotes. We will go on a short walk to see if we can get a response from our resident pack then return to the campfire for a new years eve countdown for kids.

The Friends of Bronte Creek will have marshmallows to roast (donation) as you warm up by the fire.

Program will begin at 6:30pm and wrap up by 8:00pm

Logistics:
Great for all ages.
No dogs please.
Outdoor event - dress for the weather - then add another layer.
Ground may be snow covered/ icy or muddy.
May not be great for wheels.
Washrooms will be open.

No event registration required - although you may wish to reserve your Daily Vehicle Permit.

Are you ready to start a new tradition next year? A First Day Hike is a fun and healthy way to kick off the New Year.

We offer 13km of multi-use trails to walk, jog, ski or cycle along.

Remember to take along a park map or use your mobile phone map app to keep track of your location, it's easy to get turned around.

Stay on marked trails. Dress in layers. Take some snacks along.

Plan to start your hike either in parking lot A in our Day-Use Only area or the Campground main lot on our campground access area. (incase of inclement weather park hours may be adjusted. We will notify visitors through Facebook and Instagram, stories/ posts).

We encourage all fiber/needle crafters to join us for some outdoor creativity.

If you have non-fibre fans in your entourage the park offers an 18hole disc golf course, 13km of multi-use trails, 2 working farms with farm animals, gnome road and plenty of open grassy fields for a game of soccer!
