Car Camping
Arrowhead offers 382 campsites in three campgrounds: Lumby, East River and Roe.
The Lumby Campground is divided into two sections: North and South. The forest cover in this area is mixed deciduous. There are no electrical campsites in this campground, and it offers sites for tents and tent trailers. The Pet Exercise Area is accessible through North Lumby. Lumby Beach is accessible through South Lumby. You can access the Arrowhead Lake Trail through this campground.
The East River Campground offers private sites that are great for trailers and tents. The forest cover in this area is mixed deciduous and conifers. There are both electric and non-electric sites available. This campground is closest to Stubb’s Falls, and you can hear the waterfall flowing if you are camping on road 10! The main campground road runs parallel to the Stubb’s Falls Trail. Beach 1 is the closest beach, accessed across the road from the entrance of the campground.
The Roe Campground offers large, private, and well-drained sites. The forest cover is mainly dominated by large conifers. There are both electric and non-electric sites good for tents and larger trailers. Roe Beach is accessible at the end of road 7 and is usually less crowded than Beach 1 and 2. You can access the Arrowhead Lake Trail through this campground.
There are seven pull-through campsites that are available year-round. These are electrical sites, perfect for winter camping! In the warm months, there is a water tap available on each site. These campsites are located in between the East River and Roe Campgrounds and are closest to Beach 2, which is located just behind the Visitor Centre/Park Store!
