Park Notice

George Lake Campground: Please be advised that construction of twenty-two new campsites will be taking place in the George Lake Campground starting November 1st, 2025 until April 1st, 2026. Due to construction, the campground, with the exception of Roofed Accommodations, will be closed for overnight camping. Day use of all trails, except Cranberry Bog, is permitted. Visitors during this period may encounter construction zones and noise from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Camping on the Silhouette Trail will still be permitted during this time. Also, for this Winter, the Park will have modified cross country ski trails still available for use (approximately 15km) accessed through our Granite Ridge Day Use Area.

George Lake Campground: Please be advised that construction will commence for a Public Safety Radio Network (PSRN) radio tower on October 15th, 2025. The radio tower is being built in the vicinity of the park’s trailer dump-and-fill station. Visitors to the park during this period may experience additional noise from construction from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Park Notice

The campground water system, including the comfort station and trailer dump-and-fill station, has been shut down for the winter. Potable water and flush toilets will remain available at the park office 24/7 through the winter.

Campground roads are closed for the winter. Please arrive prepared to walk to your campsite, yurt, or cabin. Toboggans are available to borrow outside the park office for towing gear to your site.
