DESCRIPTION:During the fire season\, look-out men keep constant vigilance for the first sign of smoke\, scanning for miles around. This short film takes place at a fire tower located at the Petawawa Forest Experiment Station in Ontario. The film is followed by a short talk illustrating the work of Fire Rangers and the system of fire towers that once watched over Algonquin Park’s \nforests. Featuring photographs and records from the Algonquin Provincial Park Archives &amp\; \nCollections. Program is 1 hour in Length. Outdoor Theatre (at km 35.4).
