DESCRIPTION:Drop in at the Observatory anytime between 2:00 and 4:00 pm to meet Astronomer in Residence Julie Tome and observe the sun through the telescope. Learn about the solar cycle\, sunspots\, and more details on our closest star. \n\nObservatory programs are cancelled in the event of cloudy skies.   \n\nFinding the park observatory – From the main entrance\, walk to the end of the parking lot and take the trail to the left of the bear signs. This will lead you to a gravel parking lot\, then further to the telescope domes.  \n\nThe Observatory is only open to the public during programs.
