DESCRIPTION:Experience the Kinoomaage-Waabkong —also known as the “Teaching Rocks”\, here you will see the Petroglyphs under specially angled lighting. There are hundreds of the sacred petroglyphs to be seen\, these have been carved into stone by the Anishinaabe people over thousands of years. Take in the carvings and some of their meanings during a 1 hour guided tour after dark. Leave with an expanded understanding of rock art and local Indigenous culture! \nCall to reserve a spot! (705) 877-2552\nVehicles may enter the park for the Evening Programs between 7 PM and 8 PM. Please park in Seniors parking and continue on to check-in at the Learning Place Visitor Centre. The program will finish around 10 PM\, all vehicles must exit the park at that time. Please bring a flashlight\, and bug spray if needed.
